VCA Code, an industry-leading talent provider for Southern California, is seeking qualified Building Inspectors for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions at various skill levels. What We’re Looking For:

Our clients need Building Inspectors with expertise across residential, commercial, industrial, medical, and/or educational facilities. Depending on your experience, you may be responsible for:

• Conducting on-site inspections of residential and non-residential buildings
• Applying your knowledge of California Building Standards Codes
• Inspecting mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Ensuring code compliance for new construction, renovations, repairs, expansions, and more
• Interpreting, applying, and explaining federal, state, and municipal codes
• Performing non-engineering plan reviews and managing construction according to relevant codes
• Preparing inspection reports, correction lists, and progress updates
• Managing data within record systems
• Working independently and managing your own schedule
• Submitting required documentation and reports

Desired Qualifications:

• ICC Residential Building Inspector
• ICC Commercial Building Inspector
• ICC Combination Building Inspector
• ICC Mechanical Inspector
• ICC Plumbing Inspector
• ICC Electrical Inspector
• ICC Structural Masonry Special Inspector
• ICC Building Plans Examiner
