Job Summary
The Clinical Director of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) oversees all clinical aspects of ABA services within the clinic. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of ABA treatment for clients, supervising and training clinical staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and driving clinical excellence and innovation. We are hiring for our brand-new clinic opening soon in Augusta, Georgia. Be part of Sunshine ABA Therapy's growth and history as we excitedly expand to this new location.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Clinical Oversight and Leadership:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all ABA programs and services
- Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional guidelines in all clinical practices.

Staff Supervision and Development:
- Supervise and mentor ABA clinicians, behavior technicians, and other clinical staff.
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and feedback to clinical staff to ensure professional growth and development.
- Conduct performance evaluations and establish professional development plans for clinical team members.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Monitor and maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Implement quality assurance measures to assess and improve the effectiveness of ABA programs.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of clinical documentation and treatment plans.

Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning:
- Oversee the assessment process to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
- Review and approve behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs).

Client and Family Relations:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and families regarding clinical care and treatment progress.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with families, caregivers, and other stakeholders.

Program Development and Evaluation:
- Drive the development and implementation of new ABA programs and services.
- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for program enhancements and improvements.
- Stay abreast of current research, trends, and best practices in ABA and related fields.

Budgeting and Resource Management:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and manage the clinical department budget.
- Allocate resources effectively to support the delivery of high-quality ABA services.

Qualifications
- Masters or doctoral degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, with 4 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of clients, families, and staff members.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Masterss or PHD in psychology, behavior analysis, or a related field.
- Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders.
