Expected Salary:

$25.00 to $36.00 per hour (with a 2nd shift differential of $2.00 per hour)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist with experience in Live Tooling to join our Large Rod End Cell. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives with minimal supervision and is eager to make an impact!

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete set-ups with minimal supervision.
• Oversee all phases of part operation set-up to achieve first article acceptance.
• Perform and maintain accurate in-process quality inspections and records.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least five years of experience in CNC Lathe operation set-up.
• Experience with multiple turret and multi-axis machines; Y/B Axis experience is a plus.
• Proficient in using indicators, gauges, dial bores, and plate inspection methods.
• Ability to maintain close tolerances (within .0005”) and hold .0005 profile and roundness.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and tool life for aerospace machining.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow verbal instructions and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs (more with assistance).
• Experience with AS9100, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma is ideal.
• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder) due to ITAR requirements.
