Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all relevant broadcast equipment including video switchers, server playback/recording systems, routers, and intercom systems.
• Record, edit, and play back content during live studio productions.
• Ensure technical quality control of video and audio signals according to ESPN standards.
• Manage local media, naming conventions, and organization of server content.
• Demonstrate basic editing skills using instant replay and non-linear editing tools.
• Participate in special event coverage, training programs, and cross-functional projects.
• Provide training and develop documentation when required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal teams.
• Maintain familiarity with plant signal flow and routing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in TV production or broadcast environments (network or large market level).
• Solid understanding of broadcast production equipment and technology.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays .
• Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities independently.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Quick learner with adaptability in fast-changing production settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with broadcast communications equipment and remote event workflows .
• Customer service-focused mindset when working with internal partners and stakeholders.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
• Understanding of technical production workflows outside of core role.

Education Requirements:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Studio Production, Journalism, or related field
