Job Description
We are hiring Inside Sales Representatives to join our New Unit Sales team at our PA/WV location. These individuals will work closely with our Outsides Sales Reps to gain industry knowledge and technical expertise involving growing the General Industrial brand, power generation specifications, and territory management.

Sales Product Portfolio: - Generac Industrial Products
- Generac Mobile Products
- Industrial Battery Storage, Transfer Switches, and Other Stored Energy Devices
Duties/Responsibilities: - Coordinate with contractors to fill in missing information on specs and drawings.
- Enter and update opportunities in the CRM system.
- Support Outside Sales Reps & Sales Engineers as needed.
- Handle incoming calls related to new unit sales.
- Ensure all customer inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and goals.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively support customers and promote products.
Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in CRM software and data entry
Education/Experience: - High school diploma AND minimum 2 year sales, marketing, or project coordination experience
OR - Bachelor's degree in related field
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
This position will be working primarily indoors or outdoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, but also requires the employee to be moving through other areas on a regular basis. From this movement, the employee will encounter varying temperatures from these areas. Normal auto and air travel hazards will apply. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in other areas.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching.
Must have command of sight, hearing, touch and smell. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to closed forms. The ideal candidate for this position would oversee generic tasks such as email, paperwork, and organizational needs.
