Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the receipt, inspection, and dispatch of our scanners to various global destinations. Apart from these, the role also involves taking part in local trade shows.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and inspect deliveries every couple of weeks ensuring all items are properly packed and intact.
2. Ship scanners individually to recipients using UPS and FEDEX.
3. Ensure proper packing and delivery of scanners weighing up to 24 lbs.
4. Assist in preparing for trade shows - locally, packing, and shipping materials as required.
5. Handle international shipments to locations including but not limited to Canada and Mexico.
This role requires physical presence for five days per week at our Santa Clara, CA location.
Qualifications:
1. Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
2. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
3. Proficient in the use of shipping platforms like UPS and FedEx.
4. Comfortable with manual handling of up to 24 lbs.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
