As a member of our Technology Operations team, your initiative and creative problem-solving will help propel global innovation in technology and business. In addition to valuable on-the-job experience, you'll receive coaching, mentorship, and a host of other development opportunities to advance your career at the firm and beyond.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge in infrastructure projects, operations systems, and data analytics Proficiency in one or more of the following: Microsoft Office, VPN, Virtual Machines, Remote Connectivity products, Security Understanding of technology offerings and businesses supported Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot, and deliver strategic solutions to clients Genuine interest in continuous feedback, learning, and growth opportunities Effective collaboration and communication to achieve common goals and maintain a company standard of excellence Good knowledge of Windows/MAC OS with the ability to carry out root cause analysis Strong analytical and problem resolution skills Proven experience of solving complex incidents, major incidents and crisis level events within a high availability, high transactional technical environment, ideally but not limited to AWS. Experience of working in an agile, DevOps, SRE Model Exposure to modern distributed database technologies including Cockroach DB is desirable Proven ability to lead with influence, work methodically and calmly under pressure, facilitating and collaborating with colleagues to deliver the right outcomes for our business and customers. Respond to escalations from our squads and vendors, including escalated alerts from our monitoring stack Owning, executing, and driving the Incident Management processes to resolution using strong facilitation, planning and time management. Ability to assess and prioritize multiple incidents based on the customer, business, regulatory, reputational, and financial impacts, knowing when to escalate without sacrificing SLA commitments Ensure the creation and progression of new problem tickets for recurrent service issues as per problem management process in a timely manner through to closure.
