Key Responsibilities:

Weber State University’s Division of Online and Continuing Education is excited to announce an opening for a Program Manager for the Building Puentes Grant. Under the guidance of the Director of Multilingual Programs, this role is crucial in overseeing the Multilingual Building Puentes program. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing multilingual programs, with a focus on operational analysis to promote their growth and success. Regular communication with the Director during critical program development and transition phases will be essential. You will collaborate effectively with other departments and DOCE staff, playing a key role in ensuring efficient program management and coordinating responsibilities as needed. Your tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of the Building Puentes outreach program and its performance.
• Developing and overseeing financial frameworks.
• Formulating comprehensive action plans to achieve ongoing objectives for the assigned programs

Additionally, you will streamline participant enrollment processes, lead promotional activities to increase program visibility, evaluate program effectiveness using a data-driven approach, and innovate in customer service to enhance participant satisfaction. By collaborating seamlessly with DOCE operational teams, you will ensure the smooth daily management of the Building Puentes program and take on special projects as assigned. This position requires a blend of effective outreach, strategic planning, financial acumen, marketing expertise, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and collaborative teamwork.

Required Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (both verbal and written communication).
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for outreach events and recruitment activities.
• Valid Utah driver’s license, or the ability to obtain upon hire, and reliable personal transportation.

• Experience with student programs and services
• Knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication strategies
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with university admissions processes

• Skill in enhancing and building community relations
• Ability to engage and motivate students

Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision: Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
