Position Overview:
Join a dedicated team serving our nation’s veterans at the VA James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN. This is a full-time outpatient neurology position with a light census and no ICU responsibilities.

Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call Schedule: Rotating call
• Patient Census: Typically under 10 patients/day
• Setting: Government – Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Facility Size: 238-bed hospital
• Location Note: Located just outside of Nashville, TN

Compensation:

• 1099: $440,000/year
• W2: $375,000/year
• Note: No holiday pay or overtime

Clinical Details:

• No ICU
• No procedures required
• EMR: VA CPRS

Requirements to Apply:

• Updated CV with explanations for all gaps in the last 6 months
• Names and phone numbers of 3 professional references
• Must have worked clinically within the last 6 months
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• License: Any state medical license accepted

Required Certifications & Documentation:

• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS
• Health records: MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tetanus (Td), PPD, Flu
• Fingerprinting and background check
• Privileging timeline: ~6 weeks
