We are currently one of the most successful seafood companies in southern California providing over 5,000 fresh and frozen seafood products. We manage fishing vessels, harvest sites and processing plants throughout the world. We are growing and looking for an Operations Manager to join our team!

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the business.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies that align with the company's overall strategic objectives.
• Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
• Coordinate with other department managers to ensure operational consistency and synergy.
• Manage resources effectively to meet operational goals and financial objectives.
• Drive the implementation of new initiatives and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Foster a positive work environment that supports growth, innovation, and high levels of performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with senior management to set operational and financial goals.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to the operations team.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the food industry.
• Proven experience in strategy development and implementation.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
