Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton is a multi-specialty Group that is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, the largest hospital system in California. We are in need of a Spine surgeon who has interest in building a program. Our affiliate hospital, St. Joseph's Medical Center, earned the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval, for Joint Replacement for Hip and Knee Certification. The incoming surgeon should anticipate a robust practice of spine cases. This is not a Sports Medicine opportunity .

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care : Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
  • Communication : Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Team Collaboration : Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Pay Range
$408.65 - $432.69 /hour
