Fresca Mexican Foods is a premier manufacturer of heat-pressed, hand-stretched flour and corn tortillas. Our SQF certified world-class facility is located in Caldwell, Idaho. For over 45 years, Fresca has been manufacturing and supplying our customers with the highest quality products using the finest ingredients and time-tested formulations, manufacturing processes, and freezing techniques. Today, Fresca produces about 5 million tortillas per day, employs over 285 full-time employees and serves customers world-wide.

Production Line Packager/Product Boxing

Position Summary:

The Production Line Packager/Boxer is responsible for packaging our tortillas safely and efficiently. After proper training, our packagers and boxers can safely and efficiently put our sealed packages of tortillas into the required boxes to be shipped to our customers. Our "boxers" play an important role in our packaging process.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a bakery or tortilla manufacturing facility
• Experience with food manufacturing
• Experience with Good Manufacturing (GMP) and/or Safe Quality Food (SQF) practices

Physical Demands:

• Light to moderate physical effort is required
• Must be able to lift 30lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and move around machinery for long periods of time
• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
• Must be able to work in varying working climates, i.e., temperatures may vary from very hot to very cold

range: $12 - $19 per hour DOE
