Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon is recruiting for a Range Safety Officer to work with a reputable and well-maintained shooting range dedicated to safety, education, and customer service.

What you get to do:

• Ability to operate, demonstrate and explain firearms including hour long firearm consults.
• Stay current on product knowledge, safety training/education and have a solid understanding of gun safety practices and safety procedures.
• Continuously walk the line and observe all shooters, ensuring the safe practice of firearm use maintaining a safe shooting environment for members and protect the safety of the facility.
• Provide superior customer service by proactively assisting customers clear jams and malfunction issues.
• Maintain and clean range by sweeping spent brass from stalls and firing areas, wiping range down with de-lead and replacing target carriers.
• Assist with gun cleaning and rental gun maintenance.
• Ability to operate equipment and POS System – computers, cash registers, inventory scanners and telephones.
• Ability to operate, demonstrate and explain merchandise — Understand and be proficient in gun rentals, gift cards, classes, Member and Non-Members use of the facilities.
• Work with other staff members in keeping the range lobby, classroom and restrooms clean and presentable including but not limited to restocking, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 1:00PM to 8:30PM, Saturday from 8:00AM to 3:00PM and Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 (DOE)
