Essential Functions : This position is responsible for receipts, picking, packaging, and
shipping products, returns, inventory, clean up and quality control

• Prepare kits for shipping by picking, assembling, packing, protecting, labeling boxes and completing a quality check
• Maintain shipping and receiving materials by ensuring stock is put away in proper locations
• Distribute and maintain facility office/breakroom supplies, as needed
• Receive incoming packages and distribute to proper departments as necessary in accordance with the quality system
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the entire department

Other Duties

• Adherence and support of the POLARIS Employee Handbook inclusive of the Standards of Conduct
• Learn and support the Quality Management System
• Learn and support POLARIS Lean Initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Safety Requirements

• OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety. At POLARIS Laboratories, when going through the Laboratory it is required that you wear eye protection
• Team members train in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. POLARIS Laboratories provides the required PPE. It is the responsibility of the employee to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to the Supervisor
• To ensure safety throughout the facility, all employees are required to maintain up to date HAZMAT, OSHA, RCRA, Methylene Chloride, and General Laboratory Safety training as defined within the POLARIS Quality System

Preferred Qualifications: The preferred qualifications desired in terms of education, course concentration, work experience, technical knowledge and desired advanced certifications

• Work experience in a fast paced environment

Schedule

• The schedule for this position is set by the Warehouse Supervisor and may be filled by full time, part-time, temporary or seasonal schedules
