Role Overview:

Are you targeting a Social Media Manager role where you play a pivotal role in shaping and executing social media strategy, engaging target audiences, and reinforcing brand presence? Do you want to own your function while working within a supportive team? If yes, this may be the role for you.

You possess exceptional copywriting skills, strong marketing background, and proficiency with AI tools. You have a track record of building and executing top-tier influencer programs. You’ll be closely integrated with the worldwide marketing team responsible for PR and Content and will focus on building McAfee’s social media presence and community across multiple global properties. Expanding the brand narrative and engaging with our already thriving community to build it into a world-class social ecosystem will be the focus for this role.

You’ll stay current with company and cybersecurity news and developments to bring fresh and timely content to global social channels. Your interest in the latest social media trends and tools will keep us on the cutting edge of content delivery and measurement.

This is a remote position; however you may be required to be onsite at our Frisco, TX office on as-needed basis. We will only consider candidates who are a commutable distance to Frisco or Dallas and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role :

Social Media Strategy:

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, ensuring a global reach

Content Creation and Copywriting:

• Craft compelling and engaging social media content, including posts, stories, and videos.

• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all social media platforms

AI Integration:

• Utilize AI tools to enhance content creation, distribution, and analysis, staying at the forefront of AI-driven social media trends

Influencer Program:

• Help design the influencer program, cross collaborating with internal teams to build the strategy

Community Engagement:

• Foster and engage with social media communities, responding to comments, inquiries, and feedback

Analytics and Optimization:

• Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns

• Continuously optimize social media strategies based on data-driven insights

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, PR, CX, and content, to ensure consistency and alignment across all channels

About you :

• BA/BS/BBA degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; Master's degree preferred.

• At least 3 years (we’d love more!) social media management experience with a focus on cybersecurity or technology.

• Exceptional copywriting skills with a flair for creativity and engagement.

• Proficiency in using AI tools for social media content optimization and analysis.

• Proven track record in building and executing successful influencer marketing programs.

• Experience with SEO

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams

• Excellent writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, and tone

• Excellent social media monitoring, listening, and analytics tools

• Strong experience with dealing with influencers

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

• Ability to work autonomously, be self-sufficient, and are comfortable making decisions independently
