What You Will Be Doing As a Lead Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead/Develop Embedded Software
• Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field Active secret clearance C/C++ software development Embedded software development Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience Familiarity with hardware interfaces, bus protocols, and analog/digital signaling Experience with implementation of cyber solutions Hands-on experience related to hardware testing Desired Skills: Desired Qualifications: MS or greater in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field Cost Account Management Experience developing cyber-hardened bootloaders Experience working with Ethernet network security mechanisms Experience with device driver and BSPs Experience with VxWorks Experience with FPGA logic circuit development and hardware/software integration Experience with Microchip Smart Fusion or Polar Fire architectures Experience with Simulation Integration Experience with Python and Ada CompTIA Security+ Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
