Job Description
On-site Staffing Services is seeking 1 full-time and 2 part-time Solar Panel Installers to join our team in the Waukesha, WI area , servicing the following communities:
Big Bend, Brookfield, Chenequa, Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Elm Grove, Genesee Depot, Hartland, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, Merton, Mukwonago, Muskego, Nashotah, New Berlin, North Lake, North Prairie, Oconomowoc Lake, Okauchee, Okauchee Lake, Pewaukee, Sussex, Wales, Waukesha, and Illinois.
Position Overview
As a Solar Panel Installer, you will assist with the installation of solar systems on residential and commercial rooftops. This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and on roofs with different angles and heights. The ideal candidate is motivated, eager to learn, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the growth of renewable energy.
Essential Duties
Follow layout plans and perform structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
Assist the crew to ensure the successful completion of solar system installations.
Document and verify quality installation completion.
Comply with OSHA standards (the company provides OSHA 10-hour training).
Key Requirements
Ability to consistently lift and carry 35+ lbs.
Comfortable working at heights (ladders, stairs, rooftops).
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.
Reliable transportation to Waukesha (the company provides work trucks for business use).
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (past 2 years: no speeding, DUI, or accidents).
Prior solar installation experience is preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn; construction or power tool knowledge is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule & Pay
1st Shift: Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (busy days may extend to 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
Pay Rate: $20 – $35 per hour (based on experience).
