Metropolitan State Hospital is located in the city of Norwalk.
The Department of State Hospitals - Metropolitan's Medical Staff Office is currently accepting applications for Staff Services Analyst (SSA)/Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA); Limited-Term/Full-Time. Working Title : Staff Services Analyst or Associate Governmental Program Analyst - Medical Staff Office.
Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the SSA/AGPA carries out the professional and analytical duties in the Medical Staff Office. This includes participating in the analytical studies of organization, procedures; gathers, tabulates, and analyzes data; creating reports; uploading collected data into multiple databases; draws organization, workload, and other charts. The analyst will be responsible for directing, creating, and analyzing the centralized Appointment and Reappointment (new applications, initial appointments, provisional reviews, and reappointments) packets for all Medical Staff Members. The analyst will cross train as a backup for Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR), Medication Variance Reporting (MVR) and Mortality Interdisciplinary Review Committee (MIRC) reporting. Develop and update MSO training presentation and materials for hospital staff. Facilitate training sessions for Credentialing & Privileging, MVR, ADR, and MIRC, providing support and expertise to ensure effective retention of content.To be considered for this job opportunity, applicants must have eligibility by way of permanent civil service status, be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility.
