Structural Stick Welder – Immediate Start

Location: Des Moines & Carlisle

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (40–50 hrs/week)

Pay: $24–$30/hour (based on stick welding experience)

About the Role: Join a high-performing millwright crew working on grain handling and storage systems across Iowa. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll weld, install, and maintain equipment like conveyors, augers, and storage bins. If you enjoy physical work, variety, and being part of a reliable team, this is your next move.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a crew of 2–5 on installation and maintenance projects

• Perform stick welding on structural components in the field

• Install and repair grain handling systems: bucket elevators, conveyors, augers, spouting, bins, and tanks

• Support construction and remodels of commercial ag buildings

What You Bring

• 1–2+ years of stick welding and mechanical repair experience

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work at heights

• Familiarity with construction, installation, and mechanical systems

• Strong work ethic and readiness for outdoor labor

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
