Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled welder who is capable of layout, fitting, fabricating, and welding from blueprints. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding and comfortable using basic hand tools such as tape measures and digital calipers. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision, while also possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills.ResponsibilitiesLayout, fit, fabricate, and weld from blueprints.Perform MIG welding on structural steel with precision.Use basic hand tools, including tape measures and digital calipers.Engage in steel fabrication and structural steel tasks.Work with stainless steel, aluminum welding, flux core, and fitting.Follow blueprints to fit and fabricate parts.Execute welds up to 1/2 inch.Grind and prep parts for welding.Read tape measures to cut parts to size accurately.Operate an overhead crane safely and effectively.Assist with cleaning the shop during downtime.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in MIG welding on structural steel.2+ years in steel fabrication.2+ years of experience working from blueprints.Proficient in the use of press brakes.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with stainless steel and aluminum welding.Flux core welding expertise.Why Work Here?Join a smaller company that offers great benefits and ample opportunity for growth.
