Position Summary
The Worship Pastor oversees all the musical aspects of services and church events. This role requires a dedicated and talented individual with a heart for the Lord, worship music, and a commitment to leading the congregation into encounters with the Lord. This role is highly esteemed and pastoral. Our expectation on lifestyle is in alignment with the scriptures on church leadership, we are happy to discuss specifics in person. If the Lord is leading you in this direction, we would love to talk! While we are listing responsibilities, the main qualifier for the position is the anointing.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Planning worship sets with the guidance of the Holy Spirit with pastoral collaboration. Songs are
to be congregational and in line with our culture. The expectation is to be one month in advance
at all times including songs, keys, and playlists. Hymnals are a must.
- Practice at least once per week not including rehearsal. We believe the gift of preparation is spontaneity in worship
- Recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteer musicians and choir members
- Collaborating with the technical team to ensure high-quality audio and visual production during
services
- In-ear monitors required
- Lead worship team connections once per month to build relationships
- Communication with the pastoral team and with your team is essential in this role

Overall we are looking for a person who is passionate about building the Kingdom of God, a person who encounters the Lord daily and leads in excellence unto the Lord. We are a full gospel pentecostal church that believes that the Holy Spirit is alive and active in our lives and our church. We are looking for someone who loves people and loves God’s presence.

This is a part time paid position, undertaken as a service to the Lord and His people.
