Sony North America (SNA) has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Business Planner in our Imaging Solutions Sales and Marketing Group, based in San Diego. In this position, the candidate will provide support to the management team in performing Business Planning functions. Job Responsibilities Maintaining SNA Purchase/Sales/Inventory (PSI) as well as Account (Dealer) PSI in order to maximize sales opportunities while minimizing inventory risk. Building an accurate Sell-out/Sell-in forecast by diligently analyzing Customer demand/Sales trend for financial accuracy. Executing inventory allocation to Sales orders while working closely with Marketing, Logistics and order Management groups. Perform Market Development Fund (MDF) distribution, forecasting, training, and corporate accounting policy enforcement. Assist with sales quota setting, compensation calculation, and customer profitability analysis. Work closely with sales team to maintain sales hierarchy, Sell in/Sell out sales reporting, and ad hoc sales analysis and support. Issuing Reports and arranging meetings for above activities. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field is required (Computer science, Data science or a related field preferred) Minimum 3-5 years related experience The ability to work independently, prioritize duties and work within tight deadlines Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel required Must have excellent written and verbal communication Must be self-motivated self-starter, analytical, and have ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of SAP is preferred Experience in Demand forecast, preferably in Consumer Electronics (CE) industry The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,375 to $101,834. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
