Job Description

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!

Position Description

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications and REST APIs.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases to validate software functionality.
• Analyze requirements and generate test scripts from Use Cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams to understand project requirements and user stories.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects.
• Verify fixes and track issues to resolution.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to supplement automated testing efforts and
• Participate in Sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, Sprint demos, and retrospectives.

Desired Experience

• Familiarity with Hardware and how it influences Software configuration performance
• Familiarity with modern test automation tools and libraries (e.g., Selenium, SOAPUL, Python)
• Familiarity with debugging mechanisms across various languages.
• Familiarity with container technologies management practices (e.g., Docker, Podman) and orchestrated technologies (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins)
• Solid understanding of scrum and agile methodologies.
• Experience creating user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar tools for tracking issues and managing tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and in a team

 

Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $200K - $275K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
